Organize and share your files over Firefox in a secure way.
The world of file sharing nets based on
P2P technology also has its own place in the most complete browser of all times, thanks to a
plug-in called
AllPeers, that will allow you to create your own social network and share files with your friends.
This interesting
add-on implements a private net by means of the protocol designed for peer to peer file exchange known as
BitTorrent. But with one exception: only the users that have permission to do so will be able to access the files from your net, and after that they have to have permission to access specific files.
To begin sharing with
AllPeers, you have to create a user list with which to
share. This complement will come in very handy if what you want to do is
share private files with friends and family, but its objective isn't the massive
download of files from conventional P2P networks, where the
download is done privately.
AllPeers in an old complement, that is only compatible with the first versions of Firefox.
Requirements: It only works with Firefox 2.0.
Note: The functions of this plug-in are limited to the downloads from BitTorrent.
